Autonomous hose reel irrigator RainRover

RainRover is an innovative self-propelled, GPS-guided hose reel irrigator mounted on a crawler chassis and equipped with a hydraulically folding irrigation boom with working widths from 30 m to 72 m. During operation, the machine automatically travels along the programmed tramline at the calculated speed while irrigating and laying the PE hose tension-free alongside the tramline. After reaching the opposite headland, it automatically returns, rewinds the PE hose and completes the programmed irrigation cycle. The machine then moves independently to the next programmed tramline and continues irrigation without the need for a tractor, manual hose handling or reconnection to the hydrant.

Hose reel A 400, B 600, B(B) 800

The hydraulic hose reel enables fast and convenient deployment of the supply hose between the pump or hydrant and the hose reel irrigator. The hose is unwound in freewheel mode and hydraulically rewound directly from the tractor. Depending on the reel model and hose diameter, the total supply hose length can reach up to 800 m. The supply hose is available in 100 m or 200 m sections, connected using B-Storz couplings. Additional hose reels can be used to extend the supply line when required. The hose reel is designed for different tractor three-point hitch categories.

Boom R20 m

Boom R20 m is designed as a practical complement to the p1800. Depending on the selected end nozzle, it is suitable for plot strips from 24 m to 40 m. The Boom R20 m provides gentle, targeted irrigation close to the ground, with low pressure requirements and reduced drift. Perfect irrigation because:

less water consumption, with savings of 20–30% compared with a rain gun

less drift, with precise distribution through nozzles, rotators or sprays

lower pressure requirement, as the nozzles require only 1.4 bar

less crop damage, as the water is applied close to the ground

Boom R30 m

Suitable for the p2000I and p2500I, the Boom R30 m is designed for practical handling and robust operation. Its folding structure requires no additional support. The Boom R30 m is suitable for tramline spacings from 15 m to 27 m and flow rates of 20–50 m³/h. As standard, it is equipped with a centrally mounted 3-wheel frame and slewing ring, with a 4-wheel track frame available as an option. Centre sections and lifting devices in different widths are available for machines from other manufacturers. Perfect irrigation because:

less water consumption, with savings of 20–30% compared with a rain gun

Boom R40 m

Suitable for the p2500I and p2800I, the Boom R40 m is designed with four narrow trapezoidal elements per side. It keeps a road transport width of 3 m without additional adjustments. The Boom R40 m is suitable for tramline spacings from 24 m to 30 m and flow rates of 20–60 m³/h. As standard, it is equipped with a centrally mounted 3-wheel frame and slewing ring, with a 4-wheel track frame available as an option. The centre section mounted on the frame is available in widths of 2.20 m or 2.50 m, depending on the machine width. The Boom R40 m provides gentle, low-pressure irrigation close to the ground, with precise water distribution and reduced drift. Perfect irrigation because:

Boom R46/46 m

The Boom R46/46 m is the largest and most popular model in the series. It is suitable for the p2800I and larger machines. The Boom R46/46 m is suitable for tramline spacings from 27 m to 39 m and flow rates of 20–80 m³/h. Its section layout keeps the boom from extending too far forward. One-sided support is required for full unfolding. As standard, it is equipped with a heavy-duty 3-wheel frame and slewing ring, with a 4-wheel track frame available as an option. Centre sections and lifting devices in different widths are available for machines from other manufacturers. A suspension unit for the 3rd and 4th elements is included as standard. A swivel solution from the 2nd to the 1st element is available as an option for a 3 m transport width. The Boom R46/46 m provides gentle, low-pressure irrigation close to the ground, with precise water distribution and reduced drift. Perfect irrigation because:
